Everything smelled clean, as if it was only just getting use.<br /><br />She was at a table that had a few chairs moved in around it, trailing fingertips along the surface. Everything looked old but new all at once. More old for the style of it than anything else. Everything was like that, of course, as if they'd all just been plucked up and plopped down in the past somewhere.
